Assessment Criteria:

• Groundwater Flow - MODFLOW simulates hydraulic heads and flow directions to form the transport model's baseline.

• Contaminant Transport Simulation using MT3DMS/RT3D - flow model outputs to project:

  • Plume evolution over time

  • Concentration gradients across the aquifer

• Plume Stability estimating how long contaminants will exceed regulatory thresholds.

• Sensitivity Analyses identifies high-impact areas for targeted data collection.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of potential remediation strategies.

• Accurate modeling requires thorough site characterization and calibration with field data.
