Aries Engineering’s Ben Ouellette earns Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification

Aries Engineering is proud to announce that Ben Ouellette, Hydrogeologist, has successfully earned his Geologist-in-Training (GIT) certification through the National Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG). Achieving this credential marks a significant step in his professional development and demonstrates his commitment to continued growth in the field of environmental and engineering geology.

Since joining Aries over two years ago, Ben has contributed to numerous environmental and geotechnical projects, providing project support by coordinating and conducting field efforts including groundwater, drinking water, indoor air, soil, and soil vapor sampling and geotechnical drilling oversight, as well as analyzing field and laboratory data and preparing reports. Ben is also proficient in GIS mapping and has begun to take on more complex projects in addition to managing several groundwater monitoring projects, and his technical skill, diligence, and curiosity about subsurface processes make him an invaluable part of our team.

In the Aries tradition, Ben is skilled in numerous methods of environmental and geotechnical investigations, providing a cost-effective approach for our clients to complete multi-disciplinary projects.

“We are excited to see Ben continue to build his expertise as he works toward becoming a Licensed Professional Geologist (PG) in the years ahead,” said George Holt, a member of Aries’ leadership team.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science - Geology from the University of New Hampshire.
