Aries Engineering proudly announces the retirement of Kathleen Doyle, our Office Administrator, after thirty-four years of dedicated service, and being a key member of the Aries family. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for her dedication, hard work and great leadership. Kathleen, you will be missed. Kathleen’s contributions outside her role at Aries on our community was amazing. She served as the Head Coach for the Ski Jump Team at Merrimack High School, leading them to a state championship victory. Her son, Matthew, was a member of the Ski Jump Team winning Gold at the Junior Olympics in Alaska. Today, she is with the Salisbury Conservation Commission and currently serving as an umpire for the State of New Hampshire, for the Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, USA Softball leagues.

In 2021, Jay Johonnett Principal Engineer and Head of Geotechnical Engineering joined Aries Engineering to lead the Geotechnical team at Aries Engineering, bringing a wealth of experience in geotechnical and environmental engineering to our company. Jay will oversee and manage geotechnical evaluations, environmental investigations, and remedial projects across New England and the Northeast. His comprehensive knowledge from project inception to completion ensures successful and beneficial outcomes, as client demand continues to grow.

Aries Engineering, a designated COVID Essential Service continues to Support Communities and Clients.
CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE: While Aries remains open for business, following the CDC’s best practices to assist in reducing the spread of the virus, Aries has closed our office to the public.
Aries will continue project work from a remote working environment using secure remote technologies and hold meetings with our clients and regulators, virtually as necessary, to meet project deadlines. You can reach Aries’ staff by following the voice prompts when calling the office at (603) 228-0008, by mobile phone, or by email. We are available and ready to provide the same excellent service our clients have come to know and expect.
Unless ordered otherwise, Aries will continue to conduct required outdoor groundwater sampling and other outdoor field work this spring following certain precautions. For the safety of our clients and as allowed by the regulators, Aries will postpone sampling normally conducted inside households and businesses.
We understand that regulators are also practicing social distancing and have postponed regulatory inspections. Now is a good time to review your environmental compliance. In December 2017, the American Society of Civil Engineers – New Hampshire Section (ASCE-NH) awarded the RiverWalk Resort with the 2017 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement (OCEA) Award. Aries Engineering was a recipient of The OCEA Award given annually to engineering projects that demonstrate excellence in engineering skills and process.

The organization was frequently called upon to provide expert testimony, with many of these cases establishing precedents in environmental law. In 1990s with heightened environmental awareness and stringent regulations, Aries emerged as a leading resource for multiple municipalities tasked with the closure of unlined landfills and reducing the risk of groundwater contamination. Our partner’s expertise with Local, State, and Federal governments facilitated significant progress in the remediation and development of closure plans for contaminated state and Superfund sites. Aries was directly involved with the work at the Coakley Landfill.
