Aries Engineering announces the retirement of Kathleen Doyle, our Office Administrator, after thirty-four years of dedicated service and significant contributions to our organization. We sincerely appreciate her commitment, hard work, and leadership. Throughout her career, she has made notable contributions to her community, including serving as the head coach for the Ski Jump Team at Merrimack High School, leading the team to a state championship victory. Her son, Matthew, was part of the team that secured a gold medal at the Junior Olympics in Alaska. In retirement, Kathleen continues to serve as an umpire for the State of New Hampshire, overseeing leagues such as Babe Ruth, Cal Ripken, and USA Softball. We miss you!

In 2021, Jay Johonnett Principal Engineer and Head of Geotechnical Engineering joined Aries Engineering to lead the Geotechnical team at Aries Engineering, bringing a wealth of experience in geotechnical and environmental engineering to our company. Jay will oversee and manage geotechnical evaluations, environmental investigations, and remedial projects across New England and the Northeast. His comprehensive knowledge from project inception to completion ensures successful and beneficial outcomes, as client demand continues to grow.

In December 2017, the American Society of Civil Engineers – New Hampshire Section (ASCE-NH) awarded the RiverWalk Resort with the 2017 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement (OCEA) Award. Aries Engineering was a recipient of The OCEA Award given annually to engineering projects that demonstrate excellence in engineering skills and process.

Aries Expert Testimony professionals received recognition from federal, state, and local governments, as well as private industry, throughout the 2000s. They frequently provided expert testimony in numerous cases that helped establish precedents in environmental law. The outcomes of these cases, combined with insights from court rulings, contributed to a roadmap for future environmental cleanup efforts.

In 1990s, heightened environmental awareness and stringent regulations, Aries specialized Site Investigation expertise was a leading resource for multiple municipalities, closing down unlined landfills and reducing the risk of groundwater contamination. We utilized Aries local, state and federal expertise to directly contribute to the remediation and development of closure plans for the Coakley Landfill Project.
